Committed to Transparency around Environmental, Social and Governance Practices

Sustainability has been IAA’s core mission and purpose for 40 years. We have been at the forefront of the Circular Economy since well before the term was coined. IAA helps people around the world secure, recycle and reuse materials that would otherwise be discarded. We keep vehicles and parts out of landfills, reduce the need for new mining and manufacturing, and extend the lifecycle of existing resources. These reports detail our environmental measures, including our important work to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and our carbon footprint. For the past two years IAA has begun tying its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives to reporting built on the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and Task Force for Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) frameworks. By aligning our disclosures with these frameworks, we are defining performance indicators to determine our organization’s environmental and social impact. In doing so, we are committing to transparency around our ESG practices.
